Is this just a coincidence?

Hi Edna, I am sending the marriage certificate og Thomas and Eliza, you asked about Ada and Thomas's certificate sorry I do not have it. I found them on the 1901 census living with Thomas Mather's parents, Robert and Fanny at 27, Jackson Sreet, Derby. Father and son were Iron Moulder's. You mentioned the 1861 census showing Thomas born in 1859, for some reason I cannot find the family on the 1861 census, do not know why However I have found them on the 1871, 1881 and 1891 census's. All state the dob. of Thomas as 1864, I can only think that the 1859 Thomas died in childhood and so they called their next son Thomas also. Hannah Cholerton nee Newton, wife of John and mother of Mary Ann died 29.10.1847. Husband John died in Lithchurch workhouse in Oct. 1863 his occupation was framework knitter. Eliza died Oct. 1904 and her husband, Thomas died 09.12.1916. My g. grandfather, Thomas's elder brother, William died 01.09.1893. The cause of death was suicide by slitting his throat with a razor I think this is a good ending to this e mail. Regards Michele
