    Hi Edna
My name is Estelle Murray (nee Seguss). Ken Beecroft sent me your
details. I notice that you are related to Richard Seguss and Sarah Evans. They
were my great great grandparents. My great grandfather was Arthur Richard
(who was probably one of the eleven children you mentioned to Ken). Arthur
married Johanna Condon. I think they had 6 children, one being another
Arthur Richard who was my grandfather who married Mary Dickford. They
had two children, my Dad, Richard Lionel and Elizabeth. My Dad married
Lillian Mitchell and they had two daughters Estelle and Anne. My great
grandfather came to Australia, I'm not sure what year as I am having trouble
finding the ship he was supposed to come in. However my sister and I will keep
digging.
I assume the parents of your Richard Seguss were James and Sarah
Weeks. I don't know if I can help you in your search but please feel
free to ask > any questions and I will see if I can help you. > Regards >

Hello again Edna
Thanks for answering my email. Yes I am in Australia, Sydney in fact. You
mentioned Terry Seguss, I have also been in touch with him, my sister Anne
(only 2 of us) rang Terry when she was in England a couple of years ago.
Yes Arthur Richard is my great grandfather and was born 6/3/1866 at 59
Robert Street Plumstead, Woolwich, Kent, married Johanna Condon on
6/4/1887, died 2/6/1946 at 8 Astralobe Road Daceyville, Sydney. I can
vaguely remember him but remember his house more than him. I was born in
1939. I have an Edith Lillian who may be a child of Richard and Sarah (or
maybe Jane) born 2/11/1879 - I'm not sure of this one though. I'm sure I
would not be bothered with the family tree if I had a name like Smith,
Seguss certainly makes things a little easier. My Mum (who is 84) Lillian
Seguss, has always said that the Seguss' came to England with the
Heugenos. I don't know where she got this from and I have questioned her
about it but just says that the Seguss family always said this?? I will
have a look at your web site. So nice to hear from you and if you need any
help please don't hesitate to get in touch. Regards Estelle
