About Me
Edna died 22nd November 2015 in Worthing Hospital.
She had been diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis.
Her funeral was at Worthing Crematorium 11th December 2015.
Memorial gatherings & scattering of ashes will be held on;
Broadwater Green Worthing, 3rd April 2016 where there is a Bench and plaque in her memory.
Deerleap, Priddy, Somerset, 17th April 2016, a spot she loved for the views and location above Glastonbury.
Worden Park, Leyland, Lancashire, 1st May 2016 where there is a Picnic bench and plaque in her memory.

Edna also enjoyed Sir Terry Pratchett's books, especially the Tiffany Aching stories, so in order to ensure her memory stays alive this server supports the Clacks GNU service for both Sir Terry Pratchett and Edna Mather.

I am a ‘fifty something’ retired nurse, married to Geoff and I have one son Philip who has now flown the nest. We live in Worthing in West Sussex. I originate from Lancashire, where I trained as an S.R.N. some years ago at Preston School of Nursing.

I do enjoy wasting time by exploring the internet, particularly Genealogical, & writing sites. I have compiled my family tree on my maternal side (or for a different format at the family Tree maker site) and at present have traced one particular branch back to the 17th Century. I am fortunate in that the surnames that I am tracing are unusual - Seguss and Hipkin.

My husband Geoff is also retired and our joke has always been that when he retired I would go back out to work but I can't honestly see that happening as I have too much on my 'To Do' list. At the top of that list at the moment is to 'get down' to some more writing. I am in the process of writing a story about a family of Fairie Dragons I also try to post a blog on a regular basis.

I also enjoy travelling in our campervan, reading, listening to music, knitting, crochet and counted cross stitch.
